Minutes from March 15, 2004, OAALJ Meeting
Present were Peter, Alison, Steve, David, Greg and Larry.
Peter made the treasurer’s report and it was discussed and agreed that the funds in the US Bank money market account would be consolidated with the US Bank checking account and the money market account closed out.
The minutes from the February 18, 2004, meeting were amended to reflect that $100.00 in expenses for producing the membership certificates had been approved. With the amendment, the minutes were approved.
Peter reported on the membership committee’s contacts with the OSB and other businesses.
Three versions of the membership certificate were circulated. The “B” version was approved with the change in date to 2004-05.
A committee for the Bruce Black annual memorial award was formed, with Greg agreeing to chair.
March 29, 2004, was the revised deadline for submissions for the newsletter
David reported on the status/planning of the fall conference.
Discussions occurred on incorporating the annual meeting into the conference either during the lunch hour or after the close of the conference.
Discussions occurred regarding the status of the website. David suggested that it be moved to the NAALJ national site, and indicated he would further explore this possibility.
It was discussed and agreed that the venue for the April 19, 2004, meeting be changed. Peter agreed to forward directions to the new location. |
